Our Drumcondra Renovation Project is a highly considered heritage renovation of an Edwardian residence set within one of Geelong’s most tightly held bayside streets. Designed in collaboration with Antipodean Studios, the goal was to retain and elevate the home’s original character, while layering in modern elements that felt considered, timeless and purposeful.
We focused on restoring what was already there and then building around it. The updates improve how the home feels and functions day to day — bringing in more light, better flow and a stronger connection from the outdoors without losing sight of the home’s heritage.
Throughout the home, bespoke joinery and a considered material palette help everything feel cohesive and calm, with smooth transitions that let the home do the talking. The result, a space that remains true to its Edwardian roots, while feeling comfortable, functional and well-suited to modern living — an easy balance between heritage and contemporary design.
